A new procedure for entering Uzbekistan from abroad set

The Republican Special Commission of Uzbekistan introduced a new procedure for the reception of persons arriving in Uzbekistan from foreign countries by air, rail and road, reports IA "Dunyo" correspondent.

From 1 October 2020, those who have been in the "green" country (China, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, Georgia, Hungary, Finland, Latvia, Austria, and Japan) for the last 14 days will be admitted directly to the territory of Uzbekistan.

Those who enter from "yellow" countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, UAE, and EU countries (except Great Britain and Spain)) and "red" countries (all other countries) could go into Uzbekistan with a negative result of PCR test for coronavirus for the last 72 hours area.

If a person has not been tested for coronavirus in the last 72 hours or has symptoms of coronavirus infection (cough, fever, etc.), upon arrival in Uzbekistan at the checkpoint (airport, train station, etc.) at his own expense antigen is tested and introduced into the territory of Uzbekistan and sent to a hotel or home quarantine for 14 days.

If the results of the inspection are positive, the person is quarantined in the quarantine centre or at the hotel in a prescribed manner.
