Abdulaziz Kamilov holds talks with the Foreign Minister of Pakistan

On August 12, 2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a videoconference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the issues of bilateral cooperation, intensification of trade-economic relations and the schedule of upcoming contacts at the highest level.

Special attention was paid to expansion of cooperation between the two countries to promote the peace process in Afghanistan, cooperation in implementation of transport-communication and energy projects.

The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
