On January 5, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Special Representative of the Chinese Government for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The visit of the Special Representative of the Chinese Government is timed to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and China (January 2, 1992).
Prospects for further intensification of ties both in the bilateral format and within the framework of the China – Central Asia dialogue were discussed. The closeness of the positions of Uzbekistan and China on current issues of regional policy was emphasized.
The progress of the implementation of previously reached agreements and the schedule of upcoming meetings at various levels were considered.
The parties expressed their readiness to cooperate within the framework of the Program of Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Uzbekistan and China.
