Abdulaziz Kamilov meets with the President of Kyrgyzstan

On 27 February 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov was received by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, in Bishkek, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The Minister conveyed the message of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.

The sides exchanged views on the development of relations in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.

Issues of further strengthening the atmosphere of security, stability and good-neighborliness that has developed in Central Asia in recent years were considered.

It was noted that there are wide opportunities for the formation of a system of transport corridors that provide the shortest access to seaports and new foreign markets, contributing to the activation of interregional trade, the growth of transit cargo flows, and reducing the cost of transportation of raw materials, equipment and finished products.

Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
