Advance polling on the referendum on introducing amendments to the Constitution of Uzbekistan was held in the city of Orlando, Florida, United States, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
Uzbekistan citizens took an active part in it, showing that they care about the future and development of the country.
Previously, a mobile polling station was formed by the 3rd Precinct Election Commission under the 14th Tashkent city district, created at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington. It has created all the conditions for citizens in accordance with the law “On the referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and the regulation approved by the decision of the Central Election Commission No. 1178 of July 13, 2022.
During the advance polling, about 300 people expressed their civil position. At the same time, the fact that not only fellow citizens living in Florida, but also our compatriots from other states – New York, Illinois, and Canada, took part in the voting testifies to their great attention and interest in the ongoing political processes in Uzbekistan.
