Yesterday, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea Vitaly Fen has met with the Hokim of Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The parties discussed issues of enhancing collaboration between companies and enterprises of the region with South Korean partners in trade, economic and investment spheres.

The Hokim of the region noted that the Korea – Uzbekistan Business Association under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea plays an important role in establishing direct ties between companies of the two countries. At the same time, the branch of the Association in the city of Fergana, which has been operating since August 2020, will serve as a business bridge for promoting new investment projects in the region.

The parties also discussed the issue of increasing the volume of exports of products of Fergana region companies to South Korea.
