Ambassador of Uzbekistan and the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council discussed prospects for further cooperation

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia Ulugbek Maksudov has met with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef Falah M. Al-Hajraf, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Dr. Nayef Falah M. Al-Hajraf expressed satisfaction with the fact that the Gulf countries have always been in good relations with Uzbekistan and are interested in further developing friendly ties with the country in the future.

The Secretary General noted that the Gulf Cooperation Council considers Uzbekistan a socially and economically developed country, open to businesspeople, as well as made a great contribution to the Islamic civilization. The legacy of Imam Bukhari, Abu Reikhan Beruni, Mahmud Zamakhshari, Mirzo Ulugbek, Ahmad Fergani and many other great scientists are still being studied and widely used in conquering new heights of knowledge, developing various aspects of human life.

At the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
