Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Director of the RISS discussed interaction of the two countries think tanks

On February 9, The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov has met with the Director of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies Mikhail Fradkov, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The parties exchanged views on the progress of the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, affecting all spheres of life, including the country’s foreign policy, issues of interaction with Russia in bilateral and multilateral formats in ensuring the security and economic development of the Central Asian region and the CIS as a whole. The proactive policy of Uzbekistan, aimed at joint development of solutions to both regional and global problems, was noted.

The need for partnership between think tanks on a bilateral and multilateral basis was emphasized to obtain high-quality, relevant information, jointly develop common approaches and ways to solve problematic issues on the world agenda and develop appropriate measures.
