Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents his credentials to the President of Kyrgyzstan

Yesterday, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Khurshid Mirzakhidov has presented his credentials to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The President of Kyrgyzstan emphasized the success of his state visit to Uzbekistan in March and talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Following the visit, important agreements were achieved, several contracts that meet the interests of both parties were signed.

It was noted that the current high dynamics of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will serve not only the further prosperity and wellbeing of the fraternal peoples of the two countries, but also to strengthening the security and stability in Central Asia.

Both sides attach great significance to the implementation of the project for the construction of the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway, as well as multimodal transportation along economically profitable routes.

The President of Kyrgyzstan expressed gratitude to the leadership and the fraternal people of Uzbekistan for the humanitarian aid and technical assistance provided during the coronavirus pandemic.
