The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Anvar Abdukhalimov, has presented his credentials to the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, at Al Barakah Palace, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
During the conversation, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said conveyed his sincere greetings and good wishes to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The Sultan of Oman expressed his satisfaction with the level of development of bilateral relations, one of the bright symbols of which was the new building in Tashkent of the library of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Abu Raikhan al-Beruni. He remembered with great warmth his visit to Uzbekistan to participate in the opening ceremony of the library.
The leader of Oman emphasized his interest in stepping up cooperation and creating appropriate mechanisms for organizing visits at various levels.
