Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea Vitaly Fen and Hokim of Syrdarya region Gafurjon Mirzayev discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation in the region with South Korean companies in trade, economic, investment, financial and technical spheres, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of further development of the pharmaceutical industry in the region, the construction of a modern greenhouse, attracting investments to expand production with the wide use of local raw materials.
The parties paid special attention to the organization of a business forum in Syrdarya with the participation of South Korean businesspeople after the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, to the issues of providing humanitarian assistance to the employment of the population of districts affected by the man-made disaster at Sardoba reservoir.
An agreement was reached between the Embassy and the Hokimiyat of Syrdarya region to intensify cooperation in socio-economic and other spheres.
