Business delegation from Latvia and Lithuania visits Karakalpakstan

A delegation of Latvian and Lithuanian entrepreneurs visited the city of Nukus to explore opportunities for trade, economic, and investment cooperation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The business mission, organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Riga, participated in a roundtable discussion and B2B meetings.

Baltic entrepreneurs were introduced to the economic and investment potential of Karakalpakstan, including the conditions created for implementing joint projects in the fields of agriculture and logistics. They also discussed prospects for future investment initiatives in these sectors.

Additionally, the delegation visited enterprises such as OSTEN TECHNOLOGIES, Jamila Logistic, Orient Technology, and others located in Nukus that specialize in the production of panel heating radiators. Meetings were held with company leadership to explore avenues for bilateral cooperation.

As a result of the visit, Latvian company TVG Group (logistics), the Association for Economic Development of the Baltic and Central Asian Countries (import/export), and Lithuanian company Baltic Shipping expressed interest in launching projects across various sectors. Relevant agreements were signed between the parties.
