Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan J.A. Mamajonov held a meeting with Malaysian delegation led by Deputy Secretary General of Strategic Planning and Management of the Ministry of Primary Industries Toisin Gantor.
Uzbekistan’s experience in successfully solving the issues of forced and child labor was discussed. Malaysian side was informed about large-scale measures taken by the state in this direction.
The parties also discussed Uzbekistan’s achievement on addressing the issues of eradication of forced and child labor during the seasonal cotton harvest in Uzbekistan and ways to solve it.
Following the meeting, the parties exchanged views on forced and child labor and ways to fight in this direction.
