On January 13, 2020, the first post-election session of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan was held.
At the event, in accordance with the Article 80 of the Constitution of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, in agreement with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Yerniyazov Musa Tajetdinovich was elected as the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
According to the proposal of the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, agreed with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sariyev Kakhraman Ramatullayevich was appointed Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
