On September 24, the 16th Meeting of the Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of the SCO Member States, chaired by the Kyrgyz side, was held via videoconference, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
SCO Secretary-General Vladimir Norov addressed the event.
He informed the participants about the main results of the anniversary summit of the heads of state, which took place on September 17, 2021, in Dushanbe, and spoke about the importance of the organization in ensuring political stability, strengthening regional security, enhancing economic and humanitarian cooperation. Exchanges and cooperation in the judicial sphere, which is one of the important areas within the SCO, were emphasized.
Following the event, a joint statement was adopted, reflecting the agreed steps to improve the efficiency of work through the Meeting of the Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of the SCO Member States.
