Condolences to the Royal Family and people of the United Kingdom

On 12 September members of the Government of Uzbekistan visited the British Embassy in Uzbekistan to extend their condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov and other officials conveyed the condolences of the people of Uzbekistan to the Royal Family and all the people of the United Kingdom.

Members of the Government left a note in the Embassy’s Condolence Book.

“We extend our sincere condolences to the members of the Royal Family and the people of the United Kingdom on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”, the Chairperson of the Senate wrote.

It was noted that the Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who made a worthy contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Republic of Uzbekistan, will forever remain in our memory.
