Cooperation in construction of modern housing complexes in Fergana and Kokand discussed

Korea – Uzbekistan Business Center in the city of Incheon, with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea, hosted negotiations between the CEO of Hanshin Engineering & Construction Choi Moon-Gyu, Deputy Khokim of Fergana region M. Abdurakhmonov and Khokim of Kokand city M. Usmonov, via videoconference.

Participants of the event discussed two projects – the construction of a modern residential complex in Kokand City and development of Smart City in the city of Fergana.

Choi Moon-Gyu noted that despite the current epidemiological situation, the South Korean side is interested in the early implementation of Smart City project.

An agreement was reached on continuation of regular contacts via videoconference and prompt exchange of necessary information to accelerate the practical implementation of investment projects.
