Defense and Security Committee hosted a roundtable discussion on implementation of measures to improve the legal culture of youth and tasks for the future.
It should be noted that prevention of crime among youth and divorce in young families, formation of a firm position and independent opinion of young people about the global process in the world remains an urgent issue in Uzbekistan.
Participants emphasized that it is important to introduce into the consciousness of the young generation such concepts as honesty, loyalty, rights and obligations, to study important aspects of the Constitution from an early age, and to establish a system of rational use of principles of social partnership in organizing events for forming a legal consciousness in society, and improving legal culture.
In addition, it was noted that it is expedient to send parliamentary requests to relevant ministries to attract modern methods and means for improving legal culture of youth, organizing excursions abroad “tourism of legal culture”, increasing the number of videos about consequences of legal nihilism, development of mobile applications and start-up projects.
