Cooperation with the Malaysian Binary University discussed

Discussion via videoconference was held on implementation of the educational project to create a branch of the Malaysian University in Urgench.

The videoconference was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov, Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Uzokboy Begimkulov, Deputy Khokim of Khorezm region Shavkat Tulaganov, Executive Chairman of Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship Joseph Adaikalam.

Binary University, established in 1984, is one of the most established and respected university for management, IT and entrepreneurship education in Asia.

The parties discussed in detail the trilateral agreement planned to be signed between Binary University, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and Khorezm Regional Khokimiyat, including the full range of issues necessary for opening a branch of Binary University in Uzbekistan.

An agreement was reached on the earliest possible signing of a document through diplomatic channels in order to launch the above-mentioned educational project in Khorezm region in the next academic year.
