In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 05.22.2018 No. 385, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, together with ministries and departments, carried out a lot of work to create a unified calendar of cultural and entertainment and mass sports events in 2020.
The calendar contains a list of both domestic and international events held in the territory of the republic, indicating their types, location, dates and organizers. The main goal of creating this calendar is to attract foreign tourists and widely promote the Uzbekistan brand on the international tourism market.
The calendar includes the following events:
International conferences, seminars;
– International and national exhibitions and fairs;
– Concerts of national musical instruments;
– sport competitions and events;
– events in the field of national crafts;
– theater and entertainment and national games;
– events at the places of tourism and cultural heritage, etc.
The formed unified calendar of cultural and entertainment and mass sporting events with relevant media content is available on the websites www.uzbektourism.uz, Uzbekistan.Travel, www.uzevent.com in three languages (Uzbek, Russian and English).
