Deputy FM meets with the Ambassador of Sweden

On 26 April 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden with residence in Stockholm Tomas Danestad, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Accepting the credentials, the Deputy Head of Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him successful work in a high and responsible post.

The parties discussed the current issues of Uzbekistan – Sweden agenda, as well as interaction within international organizations.

The proposals for intensification of mutually beneficial relations in political, diplomatic, trade-economic, investment and other areas of mutual interest were considered.
