Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the head of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission

Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with the Head of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission Ursula Gacek, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the Deputy Minister congratulated Ursula Gacek on the start of the OSCE/ODIHR mission to observe the presidential elections scheduled for July 9.

The parties discussed the issues related to the participation of the ODIHR observer mission during the whole process of elections.

The sides expressed the interest in further long-term and fruitful partnership, primarily in the framework of improving the electoral legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
