Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Ambassador of Japan discuss bilateral cooperation issues

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has met with the Ambassador of Japan to Uzbekistan, Yoshinori Fujiyama, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the parties discussed the current state of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the implementation of existing agreements and prospects for deepening partnership in priority areas.

The Ambassador highly appreciated the scale and level of the Tashkent International Investment Forum held in March this year in the context of promoting the country’s economic, investment and trade potential in the international business community.

Following the meeting, the parties, having considered other areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan, outlined further steps for practical interaction, promotion of bilateral agreements and accelerating the implementation of agreed projects.
