Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan meets with the Minister of Industry of Belarus

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has met with the Minister of Industry of Belarus Petr Parkhomchik, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MIFT, the parties visited the national pavilion of Belarus at the International Exhibition “INNOPROM. Big Industrial Week in Uzbekistan”, where they got acquainted with products of Belarusian industrial enterprises, as well as discussed opportunities for deepening cooperation between manufacturers of the two countries through the implementation of large projects to create high-tech industries.

The existing opportunities for enhancing cooperation in agriculture, textile, leather and footwear industries, production of agricultural and special equipment, as well as pharmaceuticals, were considered.

The parties outlined further actions to establish close contacts between specific Uzbekistan and Belarusian enterprises, and expressed their readiness to provide them with comprehensive support in the implementation of joint projects.
