Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Uzbekistan, Timothy Smart.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, several issues to enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation were discussed. Particular attention was paid to establishing close contacts between business community representatives and educational exchange.
In a positive turn of events, the head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan also received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan, Musa Djamanbayev. The parties were pleased to note the current state of mutual friendship, good neighborliness, and comprehensive strategic partnership, expressing confidence in further developing mutually beneficial cooperation in 2024.
Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Constantinos Kombos, on the telephone. During the discussion, mutual appreciation was noted for the stable and dynamically developing ties between the two countries’ governments. They expressed readiness to expand bilateral and multilateral partnerships within the EU.
