President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev chairs a videoconference. The agenda includes critical sanitary and epidemiological situation in the capital and Tashkent region.
The reason for holding the meeting was the recently observed new outbreak of coronavirus infection and an increase in deaths in these regions.
The number of appeals and complaints from the population regarding the promptness and quality of medical services provided, unjustified increase in prices for medicines in pharmacies has increased.
