First Deputy Chairman of the Senate meets with the Ambassador of France

First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sodik Safoyev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic Aurélia Bouchez, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the upper house of the Parliament, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the parliaments of the two states, reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, legislation and the rule of law.

It was noted that today cooperation within the framework of the high-level dialogue in bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and France has entered a qualitatively new stage.

It was emphasized that inter-parliamentary cooperation makes a significant contribution to the further development of bilateral ties.

The parties also discussed the current state and prospects for collaboration in education.
