First Deputy Chairman of the Senate meets with the Special Representative of the Government of China

First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sodik Safoyev has met with the Special Representative of the Government of China for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui.

According to the upper house of Parliament, at the meeting, the state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and China, including on further intensification of the inter-parliamentary dialogue, were discussed.

Li Hui highly appreciated the reforms carried out under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The parties reached an agreement on strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as establishing close ties in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres and other areas of interest to both sides.
