Foreign businessmen, state and public figures were awarded state awards of Uzbekistan

In accordance with the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 29, 2018, representatives of foreign business circles cooperating fruitfully with our country, a group of state and public figures of Tajikistan were awarded with high awards of our Motherland.

On August 31, for the first time in the history of our country, a solemn ceremony was held dedicated to the presentation of state awards of the Republic of Uzbekistan to foreign citizens.

Today, our multinational people are widely celebrating the 27th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, "the President said. "It is gratifying that many foreign friends and partners of Uzbekistan - state and public figures, representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations, large foreign companies and financial institutions celebrate this significant date in our country’s history together with us," said the head of our state.

In accordance with the Strategy of Action, Uzbekistan pursues an active and open foreign policy. Today, mutually beneficial partnerships are developing with Russia, China, the United States, South Korea, Germany, Japan, Central Asian countries and other states. The leading world companies, banks and consortiums, business structures of many countries actively cooperate with Uzbekistan.

"We highly appreciate the great contribution of our partners in the development of the Uzbek economy, the effective implementation of major joint projects, the strengthening of public and cultural and humanitarian ties with our country," the head of state said.
