Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan receives the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Chile

Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Chile to our country Eduardo Escobar, reports "Dunyo" IA correspondent.

"Received the credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Chile to Uzbekistan H.E Eduardo Escobar, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. – During the meeting, underscored the importance of boosting our relations, facilitating business-to-business ties, and establishing new formats of cooperation, including inter-parliamentary dialogue, joint trade commissions, and more".
It is worth recalling that Uzbekistan and Chile established diplomatic relations almost 30 years ago – on September 15, 1994. Chile’s new Ambassador is 64 years old and a seasoned diplomat. He worked in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions of Chile in Israel, Cote d’Ivoire, Argentina, Canada, USA, Australia, Ecuador, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Since May 2021 – Ambassador to Russia. Fluent in English, Spanish and French.
