“FRANCE 2": OPENING OF SAMARKAND

On French TV channel «France 2" was shown TV program on Uzbekistan, narrating about the magnificent architectural monuments, ancient history and culture of Samarkand, reports the National Company "Uzbektourism".

"Samarkand - the legendary city. Great Amir Temur, who ruled many years, wanted to build such cities in all of Asia. Even 700 years later, the endless turquoise domes and mosaic patterns have the same effect on tourists as like as before those who came here.

The city is unique with game of blueness and competes in beauty with only blue sky", - stated in the program.

Speaking of Samarkand, it was noted that each monument has its true stories and legends which can not be separated from each other. TV broadcasting particularly emphasizes the fact that during the renovation and restoration it was retained all the characteristics of historic buildings, and experts are trying to return their identity to the residents and visitors.
