These days, members of the delegation led by the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova, are in Germany.
The delegation took part in an international symposium on “Without Borders: Opportunities for a New Stage of Cooperation between Germany and Uzbekistan in Education, Science and Industry” held at the Technical University of Munich.
At the symposium, Ms. Umarova spoke about the joint work carried out by the two countries. In particular, a presentation of the results of three years of cooperation between the New Uzbekistan University under the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and the Technical University of Munich was organized.
As part of the event, the heads of German companies Siemens, Knorr-Bremse, Airbus, Deloitte, IT4IPM, and Linde were invited to participate in the International Industrial Advisory Council, which will be organized at the New Uzbekistan University.
During the meetings organized as part of the symposium, preliminary agreements were reached on opening various laboratories for students of the New Uzbekistan University to prepare them for the industrial sector, as well as on the opening by Siemens of separate training centers for laboratory classes in the new campus of the university.
Representatives of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education also held talks with professors from the Technical University of Munich to strengthen cooperation and expand the teacher exchange program. In particular, at a meeting held between the New Uzbekistan University delegation and the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences leadership, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on creating a double-degree master’s program. In accordance with this, students of the “Industrial Management – Innovation and Business Development” program will continue their second semester in Germany.
