Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Surkhandarya region on a working visit.
Surkhandarya region’s Hokim Ulugbek Qosimov welcomed the distinguished guest at Termez International Airport.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited the mausoleum of Al Hakim at-Termizi, a great scholar of the Islamic world.
During the visit, the distinguished guest will become familiar with the industrial and economic potential of the region, where the agricultural sector is developed. He will visit the Ayritom FTZ and Termez National Carpets LLC. In addition, he will get acquainted with the project of Leto LLC for the creation of a greenhouse and storage of agricultural products. He will also study household management experience in Angor district’s “Bahor” mahalla.
Rustam Minnikhanov will also meet with Surkhandarya region’s Hokim Ulugbek Qosimov to further strengthen cooperation. It is also planned to get acquainted with the historical places of the region.
