How will the first day of UNWTO events take place?

The first day of the 25th session of the UNWTO General Assembly, organized in Samarkand, is expected to be eventful.

In the first half of the day, meetings of the statistics, programs, and budget committees, and plenary sessions with the participation of special representatives will be held.

The opening ceremony of the 25th session of the UNWTO General Assembly is scheduled for 16:00. It is also planned to hold a briefing on the results of the events with the participation of responsible representatives of the UNWTO and the leadership of the Committee on Tourism.

Uzbekistan is currently one of the active members of the World Tourism Organization. UNWTO is recognized as Uzbekistan’s leading partner in the Silk Road project.
