Humanitarian aid from Germany to Uzbekistan

At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany and with the assistance of Friedensdorf International, a humanitarian campaign has been carried out aimed at supporting the medical and social institutions of Uzbekistan in their fight against the coronavirus, providing assistance to the population of Syrdarya region affected by the man-made disaster.

A charter flight has delivered humanitarian aid to Tashkent, including medical equipment, wheelchairs, medicines, various medical supplies, materials and protective equipment collected within the framework of the above campaign.

In a video message to Uzbekistan people, the coordinator for humanitarian projects of Friedensdorf International, Claudia Peppmüller, on behalf of the organization, expressed her satisfaction that this humanitarian campaign was successfully carried out despite the existing difficulties caused by the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.

The humanitarian cargo, in agreement with the Ministry of Health, will be distributed by Soglom Avlod Uchun International Charitable Foundation.
