Increasing the effectiveness of reforms in the Year of Support for Youth and Business considered

On January 10, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a working meeting with Advisor on Economic Development, Effective Public Administration and International Cooperation, Suma Chakrabarti.

Current activities and future steps to improve the effectiveness of socio-economic reforms within the framework of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy were considered.

Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of implementing the strategy in 2024, which was declared the Year of Support for Youth and Business in the country.

Issues of more effective use of internal reserves and strengthening cooperation with foreign partners in enhancing the attraction of foreign investment, creating broad opportunities for entrepreneurship and private property, developing science, innovation, the IT sector, and introducing green and digital technologies were discussed.
