Industrial Exhibition and Business Mission “Made in Uzbekistan” kicks off in Baku

The official opening ceremony of the National Industrial Exhibition and Business Mission “Made in Uzbekistan”, organized by the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade (MIFT) of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of the country, took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The event was attended by several officials from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, representatives of Uzbekistan manufacturing companies and industry structures, presenting samples of their products at the exhibition, and Azerbaijani business circles.

The exhibition was opened by Ulugbek Muratov, Director of the Export Promotion Agency under the MIFT, Advisor to the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Masim Mammadov, Head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev.

Mr. Masim Mammadov noted that the “Made in Uzbekistan” exposition covers various areas. It presents agricultural products, textiles, building materials, electrical engineering and other products.

About 80 Uzbekistan companies-manufacturers of the textile, leather and footwear, silk, food, chemical, electrical, pharmaceutical, construction, furniture and machine-building industries are taking part in the exhibition.
