Inter-MFA Consultations under the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan on interaction of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the information sphere took place via videoconference, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of relevant agencies of the Foreign Ministries of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth.
Current issues of information support for events within the framework of CIS in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, introduction of digital technologies and active use of their capabilities in the information sphere were discussed at the event.
The sides exchanged views on advanced methods of working with representatives of national and foreign media, as well as new participants in the information space.
The consultations were held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere.
Corresponding Protocol was signed following the event.
