Yesterday, ISRS Director Eldor Aripov met with the Chairman of the Executive Committee – Executive Secretary of the CIS, Sergey Lebedev, in Moscow, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
At the meeting, views were exchanged on the current issues of cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth. Sergey Lebedev noted the effective chairmanship of Uzbekistan in the CIS last year, which made it possible to adopt important documents following the meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS Member States on December 18, 2020.
Issues of joint preparation and holding the CIS International Expert Forum on ensuring information security of the CIS, organized at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, were discussed.
The meeting took place within the framework of the participation of the delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Kamilov in the meeting of the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers taking place on 1-2 April, in Moscow.
