Issues of Uzbek-Azerbaijani cooperation in space research and the use of satellite technologies discussed in Baku

On April 19, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan, Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov, has held a meeting with the Acting Chairman of the State Company Azercosmos, Dunay Badirkhanov, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The parties discussed the current level and prospects for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in space research and the use of satellite technologies.

Mr. Dunay Badirkhanov welcomed the creation in 2019 of the Agency for Space Research and Technologies under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan (Uzbekcosmos) and expressed his readiness to establish fruitful cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to deepen the interaction, affecting the mutual exchange of experience, personnel training and the implementation of joint projects in the industry.
