KOICA provided humanitarian aid to the people of Syrdarya region

Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) handed over humanitarian supplies for people, who suffered from dam break in Sardoba reservoir, informs “Dunyo” correspondent with reference to the Agency.

Humanitarian supplies consisted of 10 various items comprised of 4,130 pcs of sanitary products, first aid products and infant nutrition.

By the aid of well-coordinated work of law enforcement agency and KOICA’s employments the supplies were delivered to the Central warehouse of Gulistan.

Partial crushing of Sardobin water reservoir dike dam took place in the morning of the 1 of May. Big harm Communication system, agriculture areas as well as residential areas are suffered great damage. Flooded residential houses and other facilities.
