Master plan for International Tourism Center reviewed

On April 14, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the presentation of the master plan for the International Tourism Center “Sea Breeze Uzbekistan”.

Thanks to the country’s favorable investment climate, cutting-edge ideas are emerging, and large-scale projects are being implemented across various sectors. In particular, the tourism industry has launched over 2,000 new entrepreneurial ventures in recent years. Last year, foreign tourists surpassed 10 million for the first time. In Tashkent region’s Bostanlyk district alone, resorts such as Amirsoy, Ugam River, and the tourist zones Beldersay – Chimgan – Nanay have been established.

Such rapid development is attracting an increasing number of foreign investors. Earlier reports highlighted plans to construct the International Tourism Center “Sea Breeze Uzbekistan” on the shores of the Charvak Reservoir. During the current presentation, the master plan for this large-scale project, developed with the involvement of several foreign companies, was reviewed.

As noted, the project envisions the phased construction of the center, divided into 10 compact zones. Each zone will feature recreational facilities and essential services within walking distance. For the convenience of visitors, a bridge is planned to connect both reservoir shores. A boulevard, beaches, and leisure areas will be developed along the waterfront, while the slopes will accommodate hotels, cottages, residential buildings, restaurants, and viewing platforms. In addition, the site will include cultural, educational, medical, and sports facilities. In this way, the complex will serve not only as a tourist destination but also as a year-round living environment.

The Head of state emphasized that the center must be accessible and comfortable for all visitors and instructed that it be equipped with the necessary infrastructure.
