Meeting with Youth Parliament members

On August 17, members of the Youth Parliament met with the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and heads of political parties’ factions.

At the meeting, participants focused on the issues of attracting youth to the activities of the Parliament and all stages of lawmaking, further increasing their activity in identifying new and priority areas for improving the quality of lawmaking, as well as further developing international cooperation in the state youth policy.

Views were exchanged on establishing relationship between members of the Youth Parliament and Committees of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, ensuring their participation in implementation of parliamentary control.

At the meeting, members of the Youth Parliament elected from the regions received answers to their questions and made suggestions.
