MFA hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Uzbekistan Ms. Aurelia Bouchez, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The parties emphasized that the official high-level visit to France in October 2018 and the telephone talks held in August 2021 between the heads of the two countries created a solid foundation for strengthening multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and France.
Issues of preparation for the exhibition dedicated to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan to be held in the Louvre Museum in autumn 2022 were discussed in detail at the meeting. The French side noted that active work is underway to organize the event at a high level.
During the conversation, the parties noted the mutual interest of the parties in further strengthening bilateral ties, in particular, improving the legal framework, and implementing several joint projects with French companies in Uzbekistan.
