MFA hosts a presentation on U.S. grants in education

On February 12, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the U.S. Embassy organized a presentation of ongoing and planned American grants in education.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the event was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov, USAID Mission Director in Uzbekistan David Hoffman, representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, and the Academy of Public Administration.

U.S. representatives presented current projects in the scientific and educational sphere and short-term plans to deepen cooperation in this area.

A thorough exchange of views took place on organizational and technical aspects related to implementing projects to reform the education system, strengthen human capital, support English language teaching, and expand partnerships between universities.

Mutual readiness was expressed to continue close cooperation in implementing the above projects and other educational and exchange programs.
