MIFT: Uzbekistan is ready to enhance its partnership with the Turkic Council

Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MIFT, the parties exchanged views on key areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Turkic Council, while emphasizing the dynamism and significant potential for further enhancing multifaceted interaction.

Mutual readiness to intensify cooperation in investments, trade, transport and logistics, tourism, development of small and medium-sized businesses, innovation, was indicated. Special attention was paid to the prospects for the creation of trade, investment and financial institutions within the Turkic Council.

Broad opportunities for partnership in the transport and logistics sphere were also emphasized.

Following the meeting, the parties outlined further steps to implement the agreements reached and the initiatives being promoted, as well as expressed their readiness to strengthen the multifaceted cooperation of Uzbekistan with the Turkic Council.
