Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Oleg Malginov, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Uzbekistan MFA, accepting the copies of the credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the beginning of his activity in Uzbekistan and wished him success in his high and responsible post.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of Uzbekistan – Russia relations of strategic partnership, as well as issues of interaction within the framework of international organizations.
The schedule and agenda of the upcoming events at various levels were considered.
Views were also exchanged on regional and international issues.
