Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan receives new Ambassador of the Czech Republic

Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has received the new Ambassador of the Czech Republic Václav Jílek, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high and responsible post and wished him successful work.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the current issues of development of Uzbekistan – Czech cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, education, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, as well as interaction within international and regional organizations, were discussed at the meeting.

Practical aspects of the upcoming bilateral contacts at various levels, including holding the next round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, were considered.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in enhancing economic diplomacy between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic, attracting direct Czech investments and technologies in the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan.

Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the talks.
