Ministers of Energy and Water Resources of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan gather in Tashkent

Tashkent hosted a regular meeting with the Ministers of Energy and Water Resources of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

It was attended by the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan J. Mirzamakhmudov, Minister of Water Resources Sh. Khamrayev, Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic T. Ibraev, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. Yessimkhanov, Vice Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Kazakhstan N. Aldamzharov and other officials.

Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan D. Juma and Deputy Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan O. Zeynalov were invited to the event as guests.

Issues of ensuring stable operation of the countries’ water and energy systems in winter and further strengthening mutual cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

The Energy coordination and dispatch center was presented during the event and information about its activities was provided.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to hold regular meetings of the permanent working group and signed the relevant protocol.
