Negotiations between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation of Afghanistan have ended

Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation of Afghanistan, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent with reference to MFA.

At the meeting, the state and prospects for further intensification of Uzbekistan – Afghanistan multifaceted relations in various fields were discussed.

The parties exchanged views on important aspects of establishing a lasting peace in Afghanistan, as well as ensuring regional security.

Special attention was paid to issues of deepening trade-economic cooperation between the two countries through the joint implementation of investment and infrastructure projects in transport, logistics, energy, trade and education.

The importance of intensifying the involvement of Afghanistan in the integration process in Central Asia for the early achievement of peace and stability in this country was noted.
